In July 2008, the new version 1.6.0.0 of the Fantastic ROM Indexer program is released.
This new release comes with:
- Storing user settings with the new “FRI User Settings.xml” file.
- The last search is changer to not be stored in the settings file.
- Selected columns and sorting are now saved after closign the program.
- ROMs are also removed when the associated Library Folder are removed.
- ROMs very long file names no longer crash the program.
- Report of any error messages that occur when FRI loads.
