Jeremy, if you want to do it yourself, you could try Rapid Repair.

You might also try Zune Customer Support, which will now do that kind of repair out of warranty (for a fee).

Is it possible to remove and replace the screen from the front without disasembling the device by using a thin sharp obect like a razor blade and sliding it carefully under the edges of the glass?

Hi! Glad you got your zune back up and running. Not a favorite thing of mine to fix screens of small over priced electronics.
